Mark Wiegardt Memorial Scholarship

Honoring a Legacy of Stewardship and Hard Work

Mark Wiegardt was a fourth-generation oyster farmer, small business owner, and dedicated advocate for Oregon’s coastal communities. As a founding member of the Tillamook Working Lands and Waters Cooperative, Mark worked tirelessly to preserve, protect, and promote sustainable natural resource industries in our region.

In his memory, the Mark Wiegardt Memorial Scholarship was established to support Tillamook County students who share Mark’s commitment to working lands and waters—whether through farming, fishing, forestry, transportation, or industrial trades.
